Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily technical support to the SSRs, PrEP Champions and Case Managers on the Project.
  • Assist in developing and strengthening of monitoring, inspection and evaluation procedures
  • Implement Monitoring activities of the project in compliance to standard monitoring framework for the project.
  • Recommend further improvement of project plans to the PPMEL manager and Programmes Officer
  • Assist in the development of monitoring and impact indicators for the project succes
  • Assist in Monitoring and evaluating the overall progress on achievement of results
  • Elicit learning from the Monitoring and Evaluation of the project and ensuring the sustainability of the project's results
  • Provide feedback to the PPMEL Manager and Programmes Officer on project strategies and activities
  • Report monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual progress on all project activities to the appropriate internal and external stakeholders in the projects
  • Organize Bi-Weekly, Monthly and quarterly review meetings with staff and stakeholders of the project
  • Assist in the development or compilation of indicators and a monitoring strategy for projects being implemented
  • Provide inputs, information and statistics for quarterly, annual and other reports
  • Participate in annual project reviews and planning workshops and assist the PPMEL Manager in preparing relevant reports
  • Conduct monitoring visits to project sites to provide technical backstopping at the community level.
  • Analyse data in a timely manner to showcase project progress, as well as use these analyses for adjusting project implementation strategies for enhanced results.
  • Developing info graphs using analysed data for information sharing to stakeholders, donor and WAAF’s audience and followers through the website and social media.
  • Assist the project personnel with M&E tools and in supporting them in their use.
  • Assist in preparing Issues Log and Risk Log for the project


Requirements:

  • Have strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Must have excellent data collection and analysis skills
  • Have good innovative, proactive and goal-oriented skills
  • Be youth friendly and be able to relate with community-based groups
  • Have a good knowledge in the use of the Microsoft Office Excel and other M&E software’s
  • Pay attention to details
  • Have a very high sense of responsibility and accuracy

  • Have the ability to work for long hours and under pressure
  • Experience in working with Key Population is required.
  • Experience in using in Microsoft Office suite especially, word and Excel is also required.
  • Excellent Data Analytical skills

Qualification Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Health Information, Social Work or related field is required. Master’s degree in Public Health will be an added advantage


Years of Experience: A minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible professional experience in Monitoring and Evaluation or related area is required
