The Marketing Officer plans and executes all digital marketing activities, including SEO/SEM, marketing technology, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns. This position plays a major role in enhancing brand awareness and drives online traffic to the website, which leads to best-in-class customer acquisition.

Job Description/Requirements

The Marketing Officer is also responsible for improving the usability, content, ranking, and conversion of the website. Additionally, they oversee and influence the social media strategy by creating and managing the social profile and presence, monitoring online conversations and sentiment, and creating content for social channels. This marketing officer must stay current with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing, analytics, and measurement.

Minimum Qualification: Degree in Marketing/Digital Marketing

Experience: 2-5 years

Job Requirements:

  • Engage in direct e-mail marketing via marketing tools such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, etc.
  • Manage the corporation’s digital presence; create content for social media
  • Conceptualize and design e-flyers for social media and direct marketing.
  • Engage in social listening, monitor online conversation and brand mention that drive an enhanced customer experience.
  • Optimization of marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social channels.
  • Improving organic and paid search rankings and results (SERP and SEM); conduct keyword research, make technical SEO recommendations, analyzing and apply metrics on website and keyword performance.
  • Drive reach, engagement, and advocacy in social media via organic content, paid ads, and influencers to acquire more followers on social channels.

Required Skills:

  • Meaningful experience in the usage of direct email marketing tools like Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Canva, etc.
  • Meaningful experience with a data-driven SEO analysis and optimization; as well as hands-on knowledge of SEO tools, email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and/or web analytics.
  • Highly analytical with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions; can derive meaning from data through A/B testing and email optimization.
  • Proficiency in all social channels, as well as experience with public relations or public brand management.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Thorough knowledge of search ranking, optimization factors, and key algorithm updates.
  • Experience with content and email management tools, and marketing automation technology
