Job Description/Requirements
- Coach an Agile team and own team business and operational delivery goals.
- Work closely with Product Management to deliver solutions that delight our customers and enable their success
- Solve technical challenges by deep-diving into the technical details of the challenge along with engineers from the team.
- Identify project delivering risks and issues. Provide options and justifications for mitigations.
- Encourage and empower the team to take ownership of the team’s success
- Hire, mentor, coach, and help each team member to set career direction and grow.
- Support and enable our continuous refinement of process, structure, and techniques to optimize testing infrastructure, continuous delivery, and progression to SaaS.
- Create and collaborate on tools that allow us to analyze software development approaches using innovative data-driven decision-making.
- Manage operations on-call team.
What You'll Bring:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience managing a software development team
- 5+ years of experience leading a software development team
- 1+ years of experience leading a remote / distributed teams and projects.
- Excellent coaching and mentoring skills.
- Led and helped to evolve a collaborative and productive software engineering team.
- Technical acumen to deep-dive into challenges and are able to lead technical discussions with technical team members and enable teams to solve problems.
- Experience with both on-premises and cloud-based solutions
- Process and project management skills, such as Agile scrum or Kanban, etc.
