Job Description/Requirements
Tasks:
- Installing and configuring Linux operating systems on servers and workstations.
- Monitoring system performance, ensuring proper operation, and performing routine maintenance tasks such as updating software packages, applying security patches, and monitoring system logs for errors or anomalies.
- Implementing security measures to protect Linux systems from unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats. This may include configuring firewalls, implementing intrusion detection systems, and performing security audits.
- Troubleshooting system issues, diagnosing hardware and software problems, and providing technical support to end-users and other IT staff.
- Maintaining accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps to ensure system integrity and facilitate knowledge sharing within the organization.
Requirements:
- Academic background, preferably in IT/Computing or Engineering;
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Microsoft environments and Relational Database Administration, preferably SQL Server (configuration, administration and troubleshooting);
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Linux environments (Debian, CentOS, Redhat and Oracle Linux);
- Network administration in HP environments;
