Job Description/Requirements
Summary/Objective:
To provide financial advisory services to mid-tier clients, achieve sales targets, manage client portfolios, support business development, mentor junior staff, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Sales Performance & Target Achievement
- Achieve annual sales targets for assigned product lines.
- Maintain a minimum 95% target achievement rate.
- Generate new client acquisitions through referrals and networking.
- Achieve a minimum 25% cross-sell ratio across product categories.
- Manage sales pipeline using CRM systems and provide regular sales forecasts.
Client Advisory & Portfolio Management
- Manage a portfolio of 50–75 clients with a 90% client satisfaction score.
- Conduct financial needs assessments and develop tailored investment strategies.
- Maintain regular client contact (minimum monthly).
- Ensure all client documentation and regulatory requirements are met.
Business Development Support
- Support senior advisors in prospecting and client acquisition.
- Attend networking events and seminars to generate leads.
- Prepare investment proposals and marketing materials.
- Build and maintain a professional referral network.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Maintain a 100% compliance record with all regulatory and internal policies.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all client interactions and recommendations.
- Participate in compliance training and support audit processes.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Minimum of a First Degree in a Finance/Accounting/Actuarial Science or related program
- Professional Qualification (e.g., GISI Level 1).
- 1–2 years of experience in financial services sales.
- Securities licensing (Level 1) and knowledge of investment products.
- Computer Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Should have an understanding of different asset classes and securities
