Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the vacant position of Relationship Officer in a leading rural bank in the Eastern Region.





Job Objective





• The Relationship Officer will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring their financial needs are met





Key Duties





• Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities with potential clients


• Conducting financial assessments to understand clients needs and risk tolerance


• Providing financial advice and recommending appropriate banking products


• Ensuring compliance with banking regulations and policies


• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and interactions


• Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships


• Meeting and exceeding sales targets for banking products and services


• Resolving client issues and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction


• Keeping abreast of industry trends and changes in financial regulations


• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the overall customer experience





Qualification Required & Experience





• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or a related field


• Proven experience in sales and customer relationship management


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Understanding of financial products and services


• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a dynamic banking environment


• Must be between the ages of 25 years - 35 years at the time of application

• Excellent planning skills to ensure effective portfolio planning


• Customer-oriented with the ability to empathize with customers


• Must be computer literate, with proficiency in T24 banking software and Microsoft Office suite


• Self-motivated & attentive details


• Demonstrate high standards of integrity, professionalism & adheres to ethical standards
