Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees daily operations of the HR department.
  • Conducts training and development needs of staff with relevant assessment.
  • Develops training and development programs.
  • Administers spending against the departmental budget.
  • Obtains and /or develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media.
  • Trains and coaches the staff and others involved in employee development efforts.
  • Plans, organizes, facilitates and orders supplies for employee development and training events.
  • Develops and maintains organizational communications such as newsletters to ensure employees have knowledge of training, development events and resources.
  • Conducts follow-up studies of all completed trainings to evaluate and measure results.
  • Modifies programs as needed.
  • Works effectively as team member with other members of management and HR department.
  • Implement performance review procedures.
  • Ensures legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge the gap between management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
  • Manage recruitment and selection process.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Oversee and manage performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Process payroll.
  • Monitor time and attendance of staff.
  • Other HR duties may be assigned.


Requirements:

  • Degree or Masters Degree is required
  • Minimum 10 years of experience 
  • Proven work experience as an HR Executive/Manager.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives.
