Our client, a manufacturing company in Tema, Ghana, is seeking a seasoned HR Manager to manage its workforce.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Human Resources Manager role in Tema. The Human Resource Manager will oversee daily HR functions, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. The role also involves managing HR policies, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, fostering a positive workplace culture, and supporting leadership in aligning HR strategies with business objectives. Additional responsibilities include training and development programs as well as maintaining employee records and HR systems.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, and Workforce Planning
- Strong experience with Employee Management, Employee Relations, and Performance Management
- Knowledge of HR Policies, Compliance, and Labor Law Regulations
- Experience in managing a workforce in a manufacturing setting
- Skills in Training and Development, Coaching, and Career Development
- Proficiency in HR Systems and Documentation Management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
- Ability to adapt to evolving business needs and work in an on-site team environment
