Job Description/Requirements

Principal Responsibilities:

  • Advises Management on all HR issues
  • Organizing and controlling the operations of a department by providing administrative services
  • Ensuring the day-to-day operations of the institution for it to run smoothly
  • Assists recruit, selecting and place competent job candidates for the Organizational.
  • Designs, implements, and regularly reviews suitable HR systems and strategies to utilize employee potential and promote healthy employee relations to achieve a competitive advantage for the Organizational.
  • Provides guidelines to all Departmental Heads on Human Resource issues.
  • Supervises the implementation of Human Resource policies and monitors line operations to ensure adherence to HR policies throughout the Organizational.
  • Develops and implements human resource information systems to facilitate storage, identification, and retrieval of employee personal and career data.
  • Assigns duties to and monitors activities of team members to ensure achievement of performance standards.
  • Identifies the training needs of immediate team members and organizes or recommends appropriate training for them.
  • Assesses the performance of immediate team members and reviews those for lower-level employees.
  • Administers discipline affecting immediate team members in accordance with the company’s disciplinary code and procedure.


Requirements:

  • University degree in Human Resource Management or its equivalent.
  • 5 years of working experience in HR and related areas.
  • Understanding of the role of HR in a modern organization.
  • Assertiveness - ability to articulate views, decisions, and policies and stick to them where necessary.
  • Trustworthiness – ability to conduct self in a manner that elicits trust, respect, and confidence of the workforce.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to relate effectively to people at all levels.
  • High level of integrity
  • Knowledge in Organizational setup is a plus.
