Human Resource & Administrative Manager

Job Summary

Plan, direct, and coordinate the administrative functions of the organization; oversee recruitment, training and development, performance management and employee engagement initiatives.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibility:

  • Development and regular review of HR manual and policies
  • Recruitment, selection and orientation/induction
  • Administration of employees’ performance measurement
  • Administration of wages and salaries – compensation & total reward
  • Prescription and execution of disciplinary measures in line with the Labour Act 2003 (Act 651)
  • Processing of workmen compensation claims
  • Liaising between the Company and HR related stakeholder organisation such as the Labour Dept. Factory Inspectorate, CHRAJ, SSNIT, etc.
  • Responsible for all administrative issues and other specific assignments


Qualification:

  • A good first degree in Human Resource, Administration or related field from a recognised institution. A post graduate qualification in Human Resource Management will be an added advantage.
  • Must have a professional certificate in Human Resource Management (CIPD, CIHRMP, SHRM, PHR etc).
  • Must have Five (5) to eight (8) years working experience with, at least, three (3) years in a managerial role.
  • Male candidates are preferred. 


Competencies:

  • Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, benefits administration, organizational planning and development, employee relations, safety, training and development and office administration.
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality and excellent organisational skills
  • Must have skills in Ms Office applications
