HR INTERN (3-MONTH CONTRACT)

ROLE PROFILE
The ideal candidate will support the human resources team with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
· Provide clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
· Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies)
· Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.)
· Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc.)
· Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations
· Assist in payroll preparation by providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.)
· Communicate with public services when necessary
· Coordinate communication with candidates and schedule interviews
· Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees
· Assist recruiters to source candidates and update our database
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in science or any related field
- Should have completed National service
REQUIREMENT
- Strong interpersonal and good presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be a proactive person
- Must be a good team player
- Proficiency in MS (Office, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Basic knowledge of labour law
