Job Summary

The Human Resource Manager is required to oversee the Human Resources Department and ensure all functions and tasks are being carried out by the human resource (HR) team.

  • Minimum Qualification: Degree
  • Experience Level: Senior level
  • Experience Length: 10 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop policies, direct and coordinate human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services.
  • Set objectives for the HR team and track progress
  • Design and implement company policies that promote a healthy work environment
  • Develop compensation and benefits plans
  • Support and suggest improvements to the entire recruitment process
  • Host in-house recruitment events
  • Discuss employees’ career development paths with managers
  • Monitor HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates and cost-per-hire)
  • Review departmental budgets
  • Organize learning and development programs
  • Ensure that employees’ requests and grievances are addressed in a timely manner
  • Maintain HR procedures that comply with labor regulations
  • Act as a liaison between the organization’s management and its employees



Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10-15 years working experience as a Human Resource Manager
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, or other related fields
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software (including payroll systems)
  • Previous working experience within the Manufacturing Industry is an added advantage
  • Solid understanding of labour legislation
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to foster healthy employee relations
  • Other relevant HR certification is a plus
