Job Summary

In this role, you will have ownership of the strategy and business relationship with Amazon Europe wide on the vendor platform (1P). You will be responsible for the Amazon P&L, have accountability for the achievement of revenue and profit targets, lead a team of 4 Amazon Key Account Managers, and manage the VM and AVS relationship for Europe and one of the local Amazon markets. You will report to the Head of E-commerce whilst closely working with Country Heads/Managers and the central e-commerce and marketing teams.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the Amazon P&L, JBP and annual trade terms Europe wide (1P)
  • Build and execute a strategic plan aligned with wider Trust goals and ambitions
  • Manage one local Amazon market
  • Lead, coach and develop the Amazon account management team
  • Clearly define ambitions and risks/opportunities per product group & market in alignment with Category Managers and Country Heads/Managers
  • Work with the wider e-commerce, marketing and sales teams to create and execute full 360 degree marketing and promotional plans
  • Maximise the ‘soft dollar’ investments including discounts, Marketing Development Funds, customer contributions and rebates
  • Co-ordinate the launch of New Product Introductions (NPIs) with pre and post analysis of execution
  • Monitor key metrics and provide in-depth analysis to continuously evaluate performance and identify opportunities and potential gaps
  • Work closely with Customer Supply Chain team to maintain best in class operational metrics
  • Build outstanding and strategic relationships with Amazon vendor management at EU level, and cross-functional teams at local market level


Qualifications:

  • Strong and demonstrable Amazon account management experience with proven record of delivering sales and profit targets
  • Extensive knowledge of Amazon tools (Vendor Central, Brand Analytics, Amazon Advertising, etc.)
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to turn ideas into reality
  • Results and data driven, entrepreneurial, confident and engaging
  • A strong influencer with a can do attitude
  • Cross-functional team player
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Exceptional at relationship building
  • Creative thinker, fast learner and self-motivated
