What you'll be doing:
- Strategic Leadership: Spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge AI technologies for feed and shopping recommendation systems.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a talented team of AI engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Hands-On Expertise: Balance strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in end-to-end AI model development and experimentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product, engineering, and other teams to integrate AI solutions seamlessly into our platform.
- Innovation Driver: Stay ahead of industry trends, identifying and implementing new AI techniques and technologies to maintain our competitive edge.

What we're looking for:
- Expertise: Extensive experience in AI and machine learning, particularly in e-commerce and social networking environments.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience developing feed recommendation and/or ads ranking algorithms.
- Technical Experience: ~8+ years of experience from roles such as Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Technical Lead, Senior Staff, and/or Principal Engineer.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of tech-leading high-performing teams and driving impactful AI initiatives.
- Visionary Thinking: Ability to conceptualize and execute AI strategies that align with business objectives and market dynamics.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
