Job Purpose

• Responsible for developing and managing robust information technology and e-banking systems

Key Responsibilities

• Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by executive management or board
• Strong knowledge in Core Banking systems, especially Temenors T in order to supervise local developments by consultant while ensuring a sound system
• Plan and implement/update all technology projects/strategies and ensure project documentation is maintained in line with institutional standards
• Ensure adequate and relevant contingency and disaster recovery plans are maintained and periodically tested
• Lead the implementation and testing procedures to ensure that newly released software produces the expected results
• Analyse the business requirements of all departments/branches to determine their technology needs
• Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to management
• Management of Cloud Operations for efficiency

Qualification Required & Experience

• Degree or MSc in IT
• Professional qualification (CCNA/CCNP) or any other professional qualification
• 8 years of experience in IT, 3 years in an IT Management role
