Develop and implement excellent go-to –market strategy to increase rollout of the banks cards, channels and other technology-enabled products and services across the Bank Consistently create differentiated e-payment offerings through innovation and partnering to grow the Bank’s profitability and to deliver on strategic objectives

Job Description/Requirements

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Regular/Routine

  • Develop digital banking risk management strategy and integrate into the enterprise risk management framework
  • Develop products and services to take advantage of existing/emerging payment opportunities
  • Develop and market card products and services, leveraging on the bank’s brands
  • Liaise with the Business units for product marketing and rollout of cards, channels and other technology-enabled products
  • Drive the business development and marketing activities of the unit as well as its’ expansion
  • Reduce transaction costs via innovative products and multiple service channels to decongest banking halls
  • Create strategic alliances/partnership to grow the banks’ market share in its chosen niche
  • Define and document Product Papers, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), SLAs and Risk Management Frameworks for all digital products.


2. Special and other Duties

  • Perform other duties as assigned by Executive Director, Retail Banking or his designate.

E. SPECIFICATIONS

Minimum Education:

  • A first degree in any business related discipline.
  • Relevant Masters’ degree will be an advantage.

Formal Training :

  • Digital Banking and/or IT/Fintech certification professional qualification will be an added advantage

Minimum Experience :

  • Minimum of 12 years experience in banking/financial services with experience in electronic payments solutions. 5years must have been at management level. Experience in Fintech will be an added advantage
