GREPA is the voice of Ghanaian real estate professionals, fostering the advancement and formalization of the real estate industry in Ghana. We are seeking a highly motivated and well-connected Sponsorship Acquisition Specialist to join our team for the 2025 Africa Real Estate Conference & Expo (ARCE). This is an exclusive opportunity for a results-driven professional to leverage their network and expertise to secure sponsorships for a landmark event focused on PropTech and innovation in the African real estate market.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Fundraising and Sponsorship Manager for the ARCE Conference 2025. The Manager will be responsible for sponsorship sales, communication, sales, sponsorship activation, and event management.
Requirements:
- Sponsorship Sales and Sponsorship Activation skills
- Strong Communication and Sales skills
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with sponsors
- Event Management experience
- Proven track record in sponsorship sales, business development, or fundraising, particularly in events, real estate, or PropTech sectors.
- A strong professional network with demonstrated ability to connect with corporate decision-makers.
- Must have access to a reliable means of transport for client meetings and travel.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on achieving results.
- Ability to work independently, deliver under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of the real estate industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and approach potential sponsors, leveraging existing networks and connections to generate leads.
- Develop and deliver persuasive sponsorship proposals tailored to the needs and objectives of corporate clients.
- Secure sponsorship agreements, with a strong focus on achieving or exceeding financial targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with sponsors, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the sponsorship process.
- Collaborate with the marketing and event teams to align sponsor packages with branding and event goals.
- Provide detailed progress reports, including pipeline updates and target achievements.
