Job Description/Requirements
We are looking for an experienced Administrator to be based in Accra, Ghana.
Job Summary:
As the Administrator, you’ll be the organisational hub of a geological and mineral exploration services firm in West Africa.
This Accra-based role calls for a resourceful professional who can harmonize the needs of field operations with corporate efficiency.
You will be responsible for the performance of Human Resources, logistics, marketing, IT, compliance, administration, and communication across our regional offices in Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, and Burkina Faso.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage administrative tasks and ensure effective coordination between the Accra, Abidjan and Ouagadougou offices
- Oversee HR with onboarding, staff record management, and coordination of employment structures in all countries of operation.
- Oversee IT infrastructure and service providers to maintain secure networks, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and support digital collaboration across regional teams
- Coordinate Marketing personnel and strategies
- Coordinate logistics including regional travel arrangements and cross-border transportation of materials
- Coordinate procurement activities with local and regional suppliers
- Develop and maintain inhouse company Policies and Operating Procedures
- Facilitate bilingual communication between teams and stakeholders in Anglophone and Francophone regions
- Ensure ongoing compliance with safety and environmental regulations across all sites
- Prepare executive-level presentations, reports, and communications
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related discipline
- 2–4 years’ experience in administrative roles, preferably in mineral exploration, engineering, mining or freight industries
- Fluent in English with professional proficiency in French
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office tools and document management systems
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and across culturally diverse teams
- High integrity and discretion in handling sensitive data and correspondence
