Financial Auditor (Fintech Industry)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent audits of financial statements, transactions, and internal processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management frameworks, and compliance systems within fintech operations.
• Review and analyze digital financial records, including electronic payment systems, blockchain transactions, and API-driven financial platforms.
• Identify and evaluate risks related to financial reporting, fraud, and cybersecurity within fintech services.
• Ensure compliance with local and international financial.
• Prepare audit reports with clear findings, recommendations, and corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with compliance, finance, and technology teams to strengthen governance and operational efficiency.
• Stay up to date on fintech industry trends, regulatory updates, and audit best practices.
• Support external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders with relevant financial information.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or professional certification preferred).
• 3–5+ years of experience in auditing, preferably in fintech, banking, or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, risk management, and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with fintech products such as digital wallets, payment gateways, blockchain, and peer-to-peer lending platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in auditing tools, financial software, and data analytics (Excel, SQL, ACL, Power BI etc).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.

Salary Range: Ghs18,000 Net (Negotiable)
