We are looking for a Finance Manager who will be responsible for budget planning and support the executive management team by offering insights.

  • Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for use and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
  • Develop, implement and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures
  • Ensure that all statutory requirements of the company are met
  • Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit and liaise with Board Audit Committee and the external auditors when necessary
  • Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions
  • Development and maintain financial accounting system for cash management and all financial transactions
  • Reconcile bank and investment accounts
  • Oversee the bookkeeping function of the department
  • Manage the acquisition of capital assets and ensure that the asset are properly recorded, amortized and disposed off as appropriate
  • Review monthly results and implement monthly variance reporting
  • Establish guidelines and forecast preparation and prepare the annual budget in consultation with other management team
  • Supervising staff of the department to keep abreast with the changes in financial regulations and legislation
  • Access and manage risk
  • Ensure that all pay rolls and VAT/Taxation requirements are met
  • Supervise the treasury functions of the company to achieve the desired profit levels

 

Qualification and Requirements   

  • A minimum of a first degree qualification in finance or fully qualified Accountant
  • At least 4 years working experience in the Finance Department of a company
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Excellent eye for details, diligent, knowledge in accounting regulations
  • Have the capabilities to supervise, manage and lead staff
