Job Description

We desire results and goal-oriented individual to join our team as FIELD CASHIER

POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Prepare and make accurate cash deposits and cash transactions on behalf of the company

Essential Job Function

• Follow all specified procedures to properly handle cash and document transactions
• Ensure that monies collected is entered in UCSL recollection book with the relevant data captured and customers counter sign appropriately
• Provide corporate office with daily update reports on cash and cheques received
• Ensure that all monies collected are banked within twenty four (24) hours
• Assist with month end inventories
• Prepare analytical daily, weekly and monthly reports and present to the appropriate persons
• Answer all questions, providing detailed information and additionally establishing trust with the customer to close of sale
• Ensure that amount collected and recorded in the recollection book is the same as the total amount banked at any given time.
  
  

Qualification Required & Experience

• A DBS from a recognized tertiary institution with at least 2 years’ experience in cashiering role
• Must be hardworking and trustworthy
• Good communication and Interpersonal skills
• Attentive to details and a team player
• Knowledge in Microsoft word, excel, power point, e-mail, etc.
