Farm Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage daily farm activities, including planting, cultivation, harvesting.
• Supervise farm workers and ensure efficient allocation of labor and resources.
• Monitor crop health and implement pest control measures.
• Manage irrigation systems, soil fertility, and sustainable land use practices.
• Maintain and operate farm machinery, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
• Prepare and manage farm budgets, input procurement, and cost control measures.
• Record and analyze production data to improve productivity and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with agricultural, environmental, and health & safety regulations.
• Liaise with suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Research and adopt innovative agricultural technologies and methods.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Agriculture, Agribusiness Management, Crop Science, Animal Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in farm management or a related agricultural role.
• Sound knowledge of modern farming methods, machinery, and irrigation systems.
• Experience with budgeting, farm planning, and inventory management.
• Strong leadership and team supervision experience.
