Job Description/Requirements
Lead and coordinate exploration programs across multiple sites to ensure priority resource targets are achieved efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute exploration programs aligned with strategic targets
- Prepare and implement annual work plans and budgets
- Validate and update drill hole and exploration databases for accurate geological interpretation
- Design and oversee follow-up drilling to convert positive results into resources
- Ensure compliance with exploration protocols (survey, QA/QC, geotech, SG)
- Contribute to monthly and terminal reporting
- Support tenement applications, maintenance, and reporting
- Collaborate with operations, survey, engineering, and government stakeholders
- Maintain safety standards and prevent lost-time incidents
- Assist with geological tasks across local and international operations as needed

Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Geology or Geological Engineering
- Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience, including 5 years as a Senior Exploration Geologist
- Experience in remote exploration environments and tropical lateritic terranes
- Member of a recognized geoscience institute (e.g., MGhIG)
Technical Proficiency
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Geological and GIS software (e.g., Surpac, Leapfrog, acQuire, MapInfo)
