Reddington Beach Resort, situated in the picturesque Volta Region, is seeking a talented and ambitious Sous Chef to join our culinary team. Role:

As a Sous Chef at Reddington Beach Resort, you will play a crucial role in our culinary operations, working closely under the Head Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences that delight our guests. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to menu development, lead the kitchen brigade and ensure the highest quality of food preparation.

Reddington Beach Resort, Whuti, Anloga District, Volta Region


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head Chef in menu planning and creation.
  • Supervise and lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef.
  • Ensure the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Oversee kitchen operations, including ordering, inventory and food cost control.
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor kitchen equipment and coordinate maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist in developing and implementing new recipes and cooking techniques.
  • Collaborate with the front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.
  • Adapt to guest dietary preferences and restrictions, creating memorable dining experiences.
  • Continuously strive to improve kitchen efficiency and reduce waste.


Minimum Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting (3+ years).

Strong culinary and leadership skills.

Culinary degree or relevant certification is preferred.

Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Food safety and sanitation knowledge.
