Equipment Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on factory equipment, including lubrication, cleaning, and part replacement.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery.
• Ensure timely resolution of equipment malfunctions to minimize production downtime.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all production equipment.
• Quickly and effectively diagnose equipment problems using diagnostic tools and techniques.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve complex equipment issues.
• Participate in safety training and initiatives to promote a safe working environment.
• Support production teams by ensuring equipment is set up and functioning correctly.
• Provide training to operators and other personnel on the proper use and maintenance of equipment.
• Keep detailed records of parts usage and inventory levels.
• Prepare reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in equipment maintenance is preferred.
• Proven experience as an Equipment Technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
