Demand Planner

We are looking for a
Demand Planner who will lead the demand forecasting process to ensure the right product is in the right place at the right time, fulfilling customer orders while meeting the company's working capital requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Rolling Forecast Process:

• Use statistical models to build an initial view of the sales forecast for the coming months.
• Collaborate with the Marketing and Trade Marketing departments to incorporate advertising and promotional plans and assess their impact on forecasted demand.
• Work closely with the Sales department to review the sales plan and identify gaps and opportunities.
• Chair the Consensus Meeting, attended by the General Manager, Customer Service, Sales, Marketing, and Trade Marketing teams.
• Provide regular feedback on forecast quality.
  

Manage Forecasting Tools

• Maintain and update forecasting tools, including statistical models and SAP APO.
  

Supply Chain Coordination

• Work jointly with the Supply Planning team to analyze the rolling forecast and production plan, identifying gaps and opportunities.
• Inform Supply Planning on a weekly basis of any demand changes impacting the forecast, and keep Customer Service and Sales updated on any production changes affecting supply.
• Communicate daily with Sales and Customer Service on shortage risks and out-of-stock situations, quantifying the sales impact and providing resolution timelines.
• Develop mitigation plans with Supply Planning to address any supply issues, including out-of-stocks or excess inventory.
