Job Summary
A Reputable Microfinance Company is seeking a qualified, competent, experienced hardworking, dedicated and honest individual for immediate employment as a Credit Analyst.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Market for prospective credit clients
- Undertake the good credit appraisals of clients
- Oversee and manage a quality credit portfolio
- Propose/initiate and maintain credit quality controls
- Prepare and timely submit relevant bi-weekly performances reports
- Undertake an extensive marketing drive to increase disbursement and recovery targets
- Non-Performing Loans Management
- Adhere to loan quality controls in accordance with the company’s credit policies
- Perform the required due diligence in support of all credit applications
- Exercise good judgment to approve, or decline requests for credit facilities
- Continually analyze and determine the feasibility and risks associated with running facilities and new financing proposals
- Offer strategic business advice and streamline sustainable repayment plans to credit clients
- Outline a plan for the recovery and collection on running and expired loans
- Constantly monitor, analyze and interpret trends in the credit market
- Assume overall responsibility for the performance of the credit portfolio
Qualification and Core Competencies Required:
- Diploma/HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Economics or its equivalent
- Minimum of two years working experience in Credit Management
- Good knowledge of commercial & personal credit policies, analyses, negotiations, security, and legal procedures with special focus on credit recovery
- Good working knowledge of Banking Systems
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Excellent analytical skills and strong aptitude for problem solving, organization and planning
- Negotiating skills and creative thinking required in lending, problem solving, and employee relations
- High integrity and strong aptitude for risks
- Excellent communication and presentation skills required
- Ability to work independently and multi-tasked in a busy, fast paced environment
- Demonstrate ability to resolve difficult client through quality customer service
- A previous credit analyst experience is an advantage
- Demonstrate good Business Intelligence
- Must be results oriented and demonstrate good leadership abilities
