The jobholder combines art and technology to create visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate the target audience as well as implements online tools to promote, engage audience and boost engagement on our client's website and social media platforms. This position requires above-average attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work, and strong commitment to tasks completed on time.

Job Description/Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

Creative Design

  • Develops the overall layout and production design to create visually engaging concepts such as logos, promotional/branding materials and other print and digital materials such as corporate reports, newsletters, magazines, calendars, flyers, brochures, posters, program outline, sign-in documents, participant tags, event banners, certificates, business profiles to communicate our company's intent for its programs and target audience/s
  • Communicates information, ideas, and instructions via infographics, motion graphics, visual drawings and schematics created according to specifications set forth by requestor
  • Uses artistic judgment to select appropriate composition, design, and layout for illustration and creates illustrations for technical and instructional manuals and other publications
  • Collaborates with client, editorial staff, manager, project participants to understand project assignment, audience, and intended message in the creation of designs
  • Creates original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified way
  • Chooses graphics, clip art, and stock photography, as appropriate; or may enhance choices to suit intended need
  • Revises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback process and consults with line manager and requestor as needed on the creation of complex or specialized projects
  • Prepares and assembles print orders


Website and social media management

  • Generates, edits, uploads content, publish and ensures the day-to-day running of the company's website
  • Monitors reviews, communicates with followers and responds to inquiries timely
  • Assist with our company's public interaction through the implementation of intentional social media engagement strategies to establish our online presence and brand value through the promotion of programs with videos, photos, infographics, or text posts
  • Develops social media campaigns and KPIs to measure success of campaign
  • Monitors search engine optimization (SEO), web traffic metrics and leverages on social media monitoring tool as well as trends for insights and advice leadership on best approach for our company's digital presence goals
  • Coordinates website hosting renewals and subscription payment and ensures website zero downtime
  • Crafts compelling and engaging content for approval, posts content and engages audience reaction to content/posts on our company's various social media platforms


Data management

  • Managing library of digital communication assets,


Photo and video editing

  • Captures real time memories during company events
  • Retrieves, brands and edits photographs and videos for content creation


Support function

  • Performs other related communications and public relations duties as required and assigned from time to time.
  • Assist with our event coordination and setup


Job Characteristics:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer with multiple display units
  • Handling large paper cutter during print production


Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, Communication Design /Studies, or related disciplines highly preferred.
  • At least five (5) years of related work experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in the use of animation, creatives software such as but not limited to Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe After Effects UMark Software, Wondershare Filmora Video Editor, Video Converter, Microsoft Office suite or other related design software
  • Skilled in the rendering of illustrations for manuals and other publications based on sketches, mechanical blueprints, and drawings
  • Experience navigation on social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn) and proficient use of analytics for informed decision making
  • Ability to exercise creativity to assist clients
  • Dexterity to accurately and consistently complete work independently according to brief on schedule and with minimal supervision
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team and with an agency
  • Proficient application of art, design, and copy layout skills
  • Experience in the use of, JavaScript, Html or Python web languages preferred
  • Must be able to operate a printer and equipped with pre-print and post-print production skills
