CONSULTANTS FOR UNIVERSITY FACULTY CAPACITY BUILDING IN GREEN & DIGITAL ENTREPRENUERSHIP IN GHANA

TRAINING OF TRAINERS (ToT)

E4IMPACT FOUNDATION GHANA: E4Impact Ghana is a branch of the E4Impact Foundation Italy. It supports the start-up and growth of businesses in Africa through MBAs, entrepreneurship programs, and business accelerators, combining economic success with social and environmental impact in 30 African Countries.

ABOUT THE ASSIGNMENT: E4Impact invites qualified consultants with demonstrated experience in Training of Trainers (ToT) in entrepreneurial programs to lead the capacity-building component for university faculty members in Ghana. The consultant is expected to enhance the capacities and methodologies for delivering training content of entrepreneurial programs and to support the review and update of existing modules by embedding green and digital components. The consultant will work closely with the project team and university faculties to fulfil this assignment

SCOPE OF WORK AND DELIVERABLES

- Needs Assessment: Conduct a comprehensive needs assessment to identify the current capabilities and gaps in university Faculty related to designing and delivering green and digital entrepreneurship courses.

- Design Training Path: Develop training manuals including training methodologies, content development tools and assessment methods to be transferred to university Faculty with the ultimate goal of facilitating delivery of green and digital entrepreneurial courses.

- Execution of Training Path: select and supporting the training of university Faculty both online and in presence as well as assess competences accrued by university Faculty, design and execute remediation plans, deliver evaluation reports.

- Program Execution: support partner universities in the execution of green and digital entrepreneurship program, assess quality of delivery by partner universities, support impact measurement of programs on participants.

REMUNERATION

- The maximum gross salary for this position is €1,000 per month.

- 3 months’ probation period and thereafter 1 year renewable.

-  The salary will be paid in Euros.

REQUIREMENTS

-  A master’s degrees in business administration and/or relevant field.

-  A minimum of 3-year experience with similar assignments, including in capacity building programs.

-  Experience in training entrepreneurs and tertiary education tutors in Ghana.

-  Previous experience conducting ToT for University Tutors is a plus.

-  Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.

-  A strong network of entrepreneurial players (e.g. investors, consulting firms, incubators, accelerators, …).

1.     Education Background (20 points)

·      Relevant Certification: +5 points

·      Relevant Bachelor’s Degree: 15 points

·      Master’s degree in business administration: +5 points

2.    Entrepreneurial Training Background (40 points)

·      No Training: 0 points

·      Over 5 years of Training/Facilitating Entrepreneurs: 30 points

·      Developed Entrepreneurial Contents and Training Manuals for Lecturers/Trainers: +10 points

3.    Consultancy Assignment Management (30 points)

·      No background: 0 points

·      5 years managing similar consultancy assignment: 20 points

·      Licensed/Certified Consultant in Business Formation/Training: +10 points

4.    Interpersonal Skills (10 points)

·      Good Knowledge/Certification in Microsoft Office: 5 points max

·      Good command of English language: 5 points max

·      Familiarity of Challenges Faced by Universities Embedding Entrepreneurial Programs: 5 points max

SELECTION PROCESS

- Application Document Review: Each candidate’s resume, cover letter, and list of similar consultancy projects from start to finish will be reviewed. If one document is missing, your application will not be considered.

- Scoring Threshold: Candidates can score up to 100 points based on the selection criteria. Applicants scoring less than 60 will not be considered eligible.

- Interview: The top 10 candidates will be shortlisted. From these, the top 5 will be selected for interviews. During the interviews, E4Impact will verify the submitted documents and relevant experience, assess the candidates’ understanding of the job, and conduct a Q&A.
