Job Summary

As the company secretary, you’ll ensure the company complies with financial and legal requirements, as well as maintaining high standards of corporate governance. Although not strictly required to provide legal advice, you'll also need to have a thorough understanding of the laws that affect your areas of work. You'll hold a strategic position at the heart of governance operations within the organization. A key part of your role will be to act as a point of communication between the board of directors of the company, senior management, and other stakeholders. You will monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and take appropriate action.  You will be responsible for maintaining statutory books, including registers of board and sub-committee members, directors etc., organizing board and sub- committee meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.

What will you do?

What are we looking for?

  • An individual who possesses an excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as organization and time management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in administration, business management or law would be preferred with at least 2 years work experience
  • An aptitude for using IT software.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Influencing and Interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels.
