An international sports betting company operating in Ghana is looking for a Communications strategist who will be responsible for producing engaging clear content for the purpose of delivering the company’s message and increasing the company’s brand awareness.Their duties also include keyword research, producing well written content, and proofreading their work for accuracy and quality. Additionally, to produce written promotional materials that make the company’s products more accessible and interesting to existing and potential customers.Minimum Qualification: Degree/HND in related CourseExperience : 2 yearsWorking Hours: Minimum of hrs per weekDuration: Full-TimeLocations: AccraSalary: NegotiableCopy Writer Responsibilities: Represent the Company on all fronts as the company’s voiceWriting clear and error-free content that reflects the company’sCommunicating with stakeholders to understand their message, brand voice and target audienceWriting of marketing scripts that will be used by media presenters (Live Presenter Mentions)Represent the company at interviews with media housesWrite and publish Press Releases for the company when necessaryCreating copy concepts in an engaging way for stakeholdersInterpreting creative direction and technical information and turning them into persuasive copy conceptsWork to a deadline to ensure relevant content and timely completion of assigned projectsWorking with stakeholders to meet their content requirementsResearch and understand a stakeholder’s needs and target audiences, through online searches, reviews of existing research, or any other mediumWrite original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materialsEdit and proof work to ensure high editorial standards are met across all content outputsCollaborate with creative, product, marketing, and legal teams to assess project needs and help with messagingDrive brand consistency across all company communicationsDevelop and implement brand guidelinesStay current on trends and competitors within the editorial sphere Content Writer requirements & Skills Prior experience as a CopywriterExperience working with high-volume processesExperience working with MS OfficeProficiency in English along with excellent writing as well as editing skillsStrong verbal as well as written communication skillsExperience producing copy for print and digital media channelsExperience with SEO concepts and social media marketingProofreading experience and familiarity with standard style guidesA high level of English & Local language skills is aStrong Research Skills – Ability to research conclusively on a number of different topicsExceptional skill in social media writing, including use of hashtags and relevant acronymsAbility to work weekends and overtime as requiredCreativity, resourcefulness, flexibility, motivation, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively with a teamAbility to work independently or with a team to meet deadlinesExcellent organizational skills and multitasking ability
