Job Description/Requirements

Job Purpose

  • To maximize sales and profits of BLUETOWN service in Ghana.
  • To create a business for sales and marketing.
  • To achieve BLUETOWN ́s budget and strategic goals.
  • To ensure continuous product development through innovation.


Core Responsibilities

  • Accountable for the overall performance of BLUETOWN ́s data and content products and product related results. Developing and implementing business plans that achieve budget and business objectives.

• Optimizing category P&L

• Maximizing penetration and revenue of the BLUETOWN  ́s data and content products.

• Ensure payback on sales and marketing activities

• Sales forecast

  • Develop and maintain weekly and monthly reporting and analysis.
  • Validation of research plan, participates at innovation proposal process. Preparation of a product/process improvement brief.
  • Facilitate and execute sales and marketing campaigns and new town Launches.
  • Guarantee cross-functional cooperation and communication with other Managers in order to achieve time to market effectiveness and organizational efficiency.
  • Ensure that all processes are aligned with BLUETOWN policies.
  • Build and facilitate analytic capabilities in close corporation with our business intelligence and DWH.


Qualifications and Skills

  • University degree in marketing, communication, engineering and/or business administration.
  • Solid English Language.
  • Strong leadership skills essential to lead and engage as part of an entrepreneurial team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to actively make decisions in a promptly manner.
  • Excellent verbal skills in order to manage different types of audiences.
  • Influencing capabilities to embrace change and make it happen.
  • Experience from a Telco operator, ISP, or similar required.
