A reputable Special Needs School in Accra is looking for a qualified person to fill the position of a Classroom Teacher.
- Minimum Qualification : Degree
- Experience Level : Mid level
- Experience Length : 3 years
Job Description/Requirements
Basic Requirements:
- Teaching all areas of the curriculum
- Organizing the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment
- Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within their class
- Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
- Maintaining discipline
- Preparing and marking work to facilitate positive students development
Requirement:
- Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in education.
- Ideally the candidate has a Master’s or Ph.D. in a Special Education discipline.
- The applicant must have documented experience working with special needs students.
