Job Summary

As Chief Growth Officer (CGO), you will be accountable for creating, driving and sustaining new commercial growth for Nortal. You will be responsible for driving growth in all our markets in Europe, the Middle East and the US, with a special emphasis on expansion, market penetration, and optimizing internal teams by taking an over-arching view of sales and marketing. Reporting to the CEO, you will build trusted relationships and partnerships internally and externally with customers and other stakeholders. You will be a member of Nortal’s Group Leadership Team and as a senior member of the organization’s leadership team, you will lead across the business by personal example, and actively participate in C-level discussions regarding overall organization strategy and performance.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive growth, expansion and retention across Nortal’s markets to ensure strong sales growth and profitability
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing and cross functional teams to define value propositions and messaging to communicate the vision of the organization and the value of our products and services
  • Craft product marketing messages and unique selling points that set our products and services apart from others
  • Provide input into internal organic growth initiatives as well as influencing and supporting the organization’s acquisition strategy.
  • Create, identify, and implement new and unique ways to partner with clients and prospects driving top line growth.
  • Set and achieve ambitious business growth targets through new business and current accounts
  • Steer marketing development, product development and sales analytics and financial planning, to gain insight and actively use data to drive new business growth.
  • Work cross-functionally with various teams to build compelling propositions ensure customer satisfaction through the cross selling of our products and services
  • Institute sales and revenue generation processes that enable predictable, repeatable, and scalable market expansion going forward
  • Actively involvement in increasing our brand visibility and positioning
  • Develop a top tier sales culture with our country managers and build an outcome-driven, disciplined sales environment focused on clients, quality, and growth
  • Act with an inclusive mindset and model these behaviors for the organization as continue to build our culture

About You

  • 10+ years of well-rounded marketing, sales and revenue-generating leadership experience, working in the technology, digital and IT marketplace
  • You have experience scaling a business including growth – both organically in inorganically
  • You are an excellent cross-functional leader who is entrepreneurial and excels at both high-level thinking and execution and is effective at managing change in a fast-moving and constantly evolving business.
  • You have proven experience in growth, marketing, and product development and fit, client account management and/or consulting
  • Passion for and solid track record of collaborative leadership, ability to break down organizational silos and bolster internal relationships to achieve results
  • You have demonstrated leadership through ambiguity and change
  • An ability to work and think internationally, whilst maintaining our unique presence in our local markets

Additionally, You May Have

  • Previous experience as a Chief Growth Officer, Chief Revenue Officer or Chief Marketing Officer
  • Experience from a start-up or fast-growing business, where change is constant and organizational culture is a strategic priority
