Business Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging business lessons that align with the curriculum and cover key topics such as business management, accounting, marketing, human resources, and entrepreneurship.
• Employ a variety of instructional techniques, including lectures, case studies, group projects, and real-world simulations to enhance student learning.
• Teach students the principles of starting and running a business, focusing on leadership, decision-making, and business strategy.
• Design assessments, including tests, quizzes, projects, and presentations, to evaluate student understanding and progress.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on student assignments and examinations.
• Help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills relevant to the business world.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in business education and integrate current industry trends into the classroom.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to design interdisciplinary learning experiences and ensure students overall development.
• Assist students in preparing for external exams (if applicable) and guide them in university or career planning.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior, and participate in parent-teacher meetings when necessary.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages active student participation, creativity, and respect for diverse perspectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Prior experience teaching Business within the British Curriculum
• Strong knowledge of business concepts, economic trends, and industry practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using technology and digital tools to support learning.
• Ability to explain complex business ideas in a clear and engaging manner.
• Ability to engage students and create a dynamic, supportive learning atmosphere.

Compensation:

• Competitive salary range: GHS 3,500 - GHS 4,000 NET per month (NEGOTIABLE)
• Note: Salary range applies to candidates with prior experience teaching Business or Economics within the British Curriculum
