Job Summary

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving growth and market penetration across multiple critical infrastructure industries utilizing the InVue channel partner program globally including, Authorized InVue Distributors, Authorized Rep Firms, VAR and Integrators, OEMs and Design firms. The focus of this position is to identify and acquire new business and support the Channel Partners with sales activities, programs and new customer onboarding

Job Description/Requirements


  • Drive the achievement of sales revenue goals, new product sales goals, and gross margin goals
  • Create and execute strategies to penetrate deeper into current strategic customers - working across multiple departments, establishing relationships at the highest levels, and gaining customer adoption of products and solutions
  • Serve as “owner” of the commercial strategy for key accounts, and develop strong relationships with key decision makers within each client account
  • Build & maintain relationships within targeted InVue Channel partners.
  • Understand the Channel partners model and sales cycle and build relationships with the business development and program teams.
  • Understand the InVue Channel partner market. Drive InVue awareness and adoption into the key programs both pre-sales, pilot, and through all the deployment phases.
  • Understand the InVue portfolio – to support the Channel and end customers in managing InVue access control solutions and technologies; understand & relate specific critical infrastructure Use Cases for InVue solutions.
  • Push awareness in Channel partner Organizations - elevate InVue's strategic status with the key Channel partners, drive executive capture & technology relationships, push go-to-market solutions that will allow the SIs, VAR and Distributors to be successful and influence end-user customer requirements.
  • Drive adoption of technology during the customer pilot test phase. Execute program specific call plans; push program focused value propositions; arrange demonstrations and deep dives; ensure the partners are getting proper proposal & technical support; help channel partners win new business.
  • Manage a program specific funnel of both pre-sales, pilot, testing, and deployments.


  • Position requires up to 50% travel
  • BA or BS from an accredited 4-year institution or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, habits and follow-up
  • Strong oral and written presentation skills
  • Requires prior experience and established knowledge of Data Center and Critical Infrastructure markets
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to engage and build relationships and use of virtual / video conference call tools
  • Self-starter, competitive drive, high energy, contagious enthusiasm, and an assertive work ethic
