Develop the business sales and marketing strategy and identify new business opportunity in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help grow the business

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Should be able to identify new business opportunity in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help grow the business
  • Develop opportunities in target markets with the support of marketing.
  • Providing specialist advice on the products and services you are selling
  • Attending face to face meetings with clients
  • Nurturing and developing relationships with key customers accounts
  • Should be able to identify new markets, or new product or service offering to better meet the needs of existing markets
  • Generate leads and cold calling prospective customers
  • Understand the needs of your customers and be able to respond effectively with a plan of how to meet them
  • Think strategically - seeing a bigger picture and setting aims and objectives in order to develop and improve the business
  • Discuss business strategy and activities with the marketing department
  • Have a good understanding of the business products and services and be able to advise others about them
  • Work strategically- carrying out necessary planning in order to implement operational changes
  • Train members of your team, arranging external training where appropriate
  • Ensure staff are on board throughout the organization and understanding the need for change and what is required
  • Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management
  • Develop the business sales and marketing strategy



Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Degree
  • Should have 5-7 years of industrial experience
  • Proven experience in managerial roles
  • Strong decision-making capabilities
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain financial plans
  • Able to motivate and lead people and hold employees accountable
  • Age requirement of 40-45 years
