We are looking for a competent Business Development Executive who will assist the organisation's marketing and sales efforts by contributing to new customer acquisition through researching and pursuing new business leads and also, providing ideas on how to attract new clients for the growth of the business.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities

  1. Develop business and marketing plans in coordination with the Chief Executive Officer to achieve revenue goals.
  2. Assist in the company’s branding and media communication activities such as press releases, advertisements, marketing collaterals, and web site.
  3. Make cold calls for new business leads.
  4. Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.
  5. Explain to prospective clients about the advantages of the services offered and follow up with them to close the business deals.
  6. Respond to the client queries regarding the services in a timely fashion.
  7. Develop business proposals for new and existing customers.
  8. Develop creative strategies to retain the clients including interviewing them to take their feedback and incorporate it into the growth plan.
  9. Prepare the annual marketing budget and track the expenses against the budget.
  10. Develop in-depth knowledge about business development practices, marketing activities, prospective clients and industry trends.
  11. Maintain a knowledge repository of clients, referrals, RFPs, prospects and presentations.
  12. Develop strong customer relationships to generate a high volume of prospective clients.
  13. Manage customer calls and appointments effectively for new opportunities.
  14. Participate in industry forums, client discussions, and conferences as a representative of the organization.
  15. Determine cross-selling opportunities among different offices.
  16. Supervise the client relationship management database and utilize it to manage customer contacts and mailing lists.
  17. Analyze the current and past budgets, expenses, sales, revenues, and service deficiencies to provide recommendations for business growth and problem resolution.
  18. Hire, train, and guide the marketing and business development associates.



Qualification & Skills

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Management or Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or related field.
  2. Proven experience working as a Business Development Officer or similar role.
  3. The ability to travel to meet clients, attend conferences and research new markets as needed.
  4. Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  5. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and management skills.
  7. Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.
  8. Effective communication skills.
  9. Strong business acumen.
  10. Detail-oriented.
