We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to oversee audit engagements, lead teams, and maintain strong client relationships. The Audit Manager will ensure high-quality audit execution, adherence to regulatory standards, and effective risk management while fostering a collaborative team environment. This role requires technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a client-centric approach to deliver exceptional audit services.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
  • Understand client needs and expectations, ensuring the audit process aligns with their business objectives.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to enhance client operations and financial integrity.


Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and supervise audit teams, ensuring effective collaboration and performance
  • Foster a positive team culture and encourage professional growth among team members.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance auditing skills and knowledge.


Audit Planning & Execution:

  • Develop comprehensive audit plans tailored to each client’s specific industry, risks, and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure audit work is conducted in compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA), International Accounting Standards (IAS), and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Implement quality assurance measures throughout the audit process to uphold firm standards.


Risk Assessment & Compliance:

  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential issues in clients' financial statements and business operations.
  • Ensure audits comply with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards.
  • Stay informed about changes in regulatory and industry requirements and integrate them into audit practices.


Technical Expertise & Supervision:

  • Provide expert guidance on complex accounting and auditing issues, consulting with the Managing Partner as necessary.
  • Review the work of audit staff and seniors, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to audit standards.
  • Offer constructive feedback and coaching to enhance team performance.


Reporting & Client Presentations:

  • Prepare and present audit reports, highlighting key findings, insights, and recommendations.
  • Conduct formal meetings with clients to discuss audit outcomes and address any queries or concerns.
  • Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure implementation and continuous improvement.


Engagement Management & Business Development:

  • Oversee the entire audit engagement process, ensuring timely and budget- conscious execution.
  • Develop and manage audit budgets, allocating resources effectively for maximum efficiency.
  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., tax, consulting) to provide comprehensive client solutions.
  • Support the Managing Partner in business development efforts, identifying new client opportunities and contributing to proposals.



Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CA are highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in IFRS, IAS, ISA, and audit software/tools. Strong knowledge of financial reporting and risk assessment.
  • Leadership Abilities: Proven experience in leading and developing high- performing teams.
  • Client Management Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
