Job Summary

Identify key market areas and decision makers while maintaining existing business and aggressively converting competitive business. Contribute to the marketing plan and goals to achieve success within geographic or market area of responsibility. Establish distribution networks and/or direct sales accounts and provide ongoing sales support, product knowledge, product training, marketing tools, promotional incentives and continued feedback to help distribution channels meet their goals. Maintain compliance with regulatory mandates, adherence to national and international guidelines and standards, and superior customer service. Responsible for perception of market needs within sales area. Complete a yearly projection for potential product sales and related expenses.

Job Description/Requirements

Essential Functions: 

Duties include but are not limited to the following.

  • University Degree in science, healthcare or similar
  • Additional Business Degree is a plus
  • Min 5 years’ experience in sales on similar role
  • Distribution management experience
  • Experience within microbiology preferred
  • Coaching and personnel developing skills
  • Motivational and leadership skills
  • Strong influential skills – gaining commitment through effective influencing and stakeholder management.
  • Financial analysis skills
  • Good English verbal and written communication skills
  • Other European languages is a plus
  • Experience working with a CRM system (Salesforce or other)
  • Ability to travel up to 70%
  • Must be located in the EU country
  • Driving license



Job Qualifications:

Skills: Effective verbal and written communication in English language. Other European languages is a plus. Use of sound judgment. Ability to relate to and work with persons of all ages, social and ethnic backgrounds. Strong people and organizational skills. Computer skills in Microsoft Word/Excel® Office and Internet experience. Must be organized and detail oriented. Must be creative and able to develop sales programs and implement them within the appropriate area markets. Must be sensitive to different customs and special cultural needs in sales area.


Knowledge and Education: Must have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the markets served. The understanding and knowledge can be accomplished through academic achievement and/or practical experience. Must be able to conduct and organize training sessions for distributor management and events.

Experience: Must demonstrate an experience that relates to an understanding of the needs and demands imposed on the markets the Company serves. Must be technically qualified to conduct product training on features and benefits of products.
