Job Summary:

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Architect to join our dynamic team. This role is instrumental in overseeing the architectural integrity and implementation of projects developed by ensuring that approved designs are accurately translated into construction on site. The role will serve as the company’s primary architectural authority, supervising architectural works, coordinating with consultants and project teams, and ensuring compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

● Review architectural designs produced by lead architects to ensure alignment with the company’s project requirements, and construction feasibility.

● Conduct design risk assessments at pre-construction stage to identify

constructability and cost risk.

● Interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and details for implementation by project and site teams.

● Ensure the accurate execution of approved architectural designs during

construction.

● Conduct regular site visits to monitor architectural works and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

● Provide technical guidance to site engineers, contractors, and subcontractors on architectural details and finishes.

● Monitor architectural variations and control design related cost escalations.

● Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants to ensure design

integration and smooth project execution.

● Review and provide feedback on design revisions, and material submissions.

● Review and approve architectural materials, finishes, and construction methods to ensure quality, durability, and alignment with project aesthetics.

● Ensure architectural works comply with local building regulations, zoning laws, and statutory requirements.

● Support the process of securing permits, approvals, and inspections where required.

● Maintain architectural documentation, design standards, and project records.

● Approve mock-ups and sample rooms before bulk execution.

Requirements

● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.

● Registered with the Ghana Institute of Architects (GIA) or equivalent professional body.

● Minimum of 5–8 years of progressive architectural experience, with at least 3-5 years in construction or real estate development.

● Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (BIM coordination required) SketchUp, and other design software.

● Deep knowledge of local building regulations, standards, and sustainable design principles.

● Exceptional design, visualization, and technical drawing skills.

● Excellent leadership, communication, and project management abilities.

● Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.

● Experience in reviewing and coordinating architectural shop drawings, material submittals and finishing schedules.

● Strong understanding of construction processes and coordination with MEP and structural teams.
