Perform the duties of an Administration and Accountant Officer

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Manage obligations to suppliers, customers and third-party vendors
  • Process bank deposits
  • Reconcile financial statements
  • Prepare, send and store invoices
  • Contact clients and send reminders to ensure timely payments
  • Submit tax forms
  • Identify and address discrepancies
  • Report on the status of accounts payable and receivable
  • Update internal accounting databases and spreadsheets


Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as an Accounts Administrator or similar role
  • Good knowledge of bookkeeping procedures and debt collection regulations
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (using financial formulas and creating spreadsheets)
  • Solid data entry skills with an ability to identify numerical errors
  • Good organizational and time-management abilities
  • BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field
  • Oversee Personnel records (e.g., Contraca ts).
  • Filing of tax return to Ghana Revenue Authority
  • Payment of st, aff salary, Overtime and other expenses
  • Bank lodgement
  • Preparation of monthly financial report
  • Balancing of daily sales transaction
  • Update company database with the data of new employees (e.g., Background, qualification, skills, etc).
  • Monitoring of supply invoices by vendors to ensure all supplies correspond with invoices
  • Create and circulate docuorganizationthe policies of the organization.
  • Collect payroll information including working days, ledgers, and bank accounts
  • Publish and remove job ads on different platforms (e.g., job boards, social networks, careers pages, etc.).
  • Schedule prospective candidate’s job interviews and be a point of contact as required.
  • Receive all correspondence for the company
  • Create materials to train and retrain on boarded employees
  • Any ad hoc duties forming or arising from the role.
