Job Description/Requirements

An international sports betting company operating in Ghana is looking for an Admin and Compliance Officer who will be responsible for overseeing the company’s compliance with the Ghanian Government Laws and Regulations. The candidate needs to ensure the company complies with the country’s regulatory and license requirements as well as all internal policies. Additionally, the person will also be responsible for providing administrative support to the senior stakeholders. This includes organizing company records, overseeing department budgets, annual tax returns, maintaining inventory of office supplies, etc…Minimum Qualification: Degree/HND in related CourseExperience : 3 yearsWorking Hours: Minimum of hrs per weekDuration: Full-TimeLocations: AccraSalary: NegotiableAdmin and Compliance Officer Responsibilities Master compliance policies and protocols on behalf of the companyDevelop and implement policies to ensure the company operates in accordance with the laws and regulations.Develop and track compliance metrics report back to management on current risk and compliance performanceRemain up to date with the Country Laws and constantly review the compliance policiesConduct regular internal audits to identify potential weaknesses and noncompliance situationsEducate and communicate with employees and make sure everyone is aware of what needs to be done to comply with internal policies and external lawsConsult with a corporate attorney to resolve the compliance issuesResolve employee’s concerns over legal mattersCollaborate with external auditors and Management when neededAddress employee concerns or questions on legal complianceReview marketing materials, presentations and websites to ensure compliance with regulatory requirementsAssist in the gathering of internal information in response to regulatory requestsManaging office supplies stock and placing ordersPreparing regular financial and administrative reportsAdministration of companyOrganize a filing system for important and confidential company documentsUpdate office policies as neededAssisting the management with job postings and interviewsAd-hoc requirements by the business as needed Admin and Compliance Officer Requirements & Skills Prior experience as an Office Admin and Compliance Officer or a similar roleVery focused and eye for details to identify and correct risky practicesExcellent analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents and policiesFamiliarity with industry practices and professional standardsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work remotely, independently and as part of a teamGreat interpersonal, Organizational, Time Management and presentation skillsExperience with office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)This is handled on day to day bases by the Admin but usually does a recon with Finance end of month
