Job Summary

Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and General Ledger Structure

  • Minimum Qualification: Degree
  • Experience Level: Mid level
  • Experience Length: 2 years

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of cheque and cash payment vouchers (PV)
  • Preparing cash and bank reconciliation statements and adjusting journals
  • Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and analysis
  • Preparation and submission of PAYE, Withholding taxes and SSNIT contributions for submission
  • Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and General Ledger Structure
  • Ensure an accurate and timely daily, monthly and end-of-year procedures.
  • Ensure timely reporting to Administrator and   Director
  • Support budget and forecasting activities
  • Monitor and analyze Department Work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy



Requirements:

  • HND in Accounting/Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • 2 years experience
  • Knowledge of Tally Accounting Software will be an added advantage
