Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Organize travels from beginning to end, through booking tickets and accommodation, securing rental transportation etc.
  • Arranging travel guides and assistance to the students during their travel plan.
  • Ensure to confirm travel and convey tentative itinerary to respective students for approval
  • Research on optimal travel alternatives
  • Review student flight schedule and send daily updates to staff, including last minute changes.
  • Monitor flight status as students will be traveling and prepare for any irregularities
  • Notify Managers of any itinerary changes/updates
  • Maintaining records of all payments and travel related documents
  • Process reimbursements for students for unexpected costs
  • Confirm reservations, confirm and distribute tickets to students
  • Brief students on tours before departure
  • Supply travelers with pertinent information, documents and useful travel/holiday material (guides, maps, event programs etc.)
  • Diagnose the students’ specifications and wishes and suggest suitable travel packages or services
  • Attend webinars, conferences and other educational programs
  • Keep learning about latest travel industry trends

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor or an equivalent degree from any international institution in any subject, but with interest in travel, tourism and hospitality
  • Outstanding interpersonal communication
  • Strong command over written and oral English language
  • Excellent organizational, management and negotiation skills
  • Ability to maintain and manage vendor relationships
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Problem solver, able to make quick decisions with sound judgment
  • Working knowledge of the travel industry
  • Firm grasp of digital data and file management systems
  • Understanding of travel policies and regulations
