Job Summary

  • Reporting to the sales manager
  • Generate revenue for the company through acquiring new customers, as well as increasing business with existing customers
  • Deliver monthly sales targets by selling advertising space on our platform
  • Assess and analyse business needs with recommendations on training programs to enhance and share knowledge and skills with the team
  • Ensure a successful customer journey –ensuring that all accounts are being contacted and revenue maximised.


Job Description

  • Sell digital advertising space to new accounts
  • Maximizing revenue from existing accounts
  • Face to face meeting with clients to propose company services
  • Direct sales presentations
  • Utilising CRM tools effectively
  • Working on account management plans with the sales manager
  • Applicant should be comfortable working in and out of the office, and comfortable with face to face contact with clients
  • Ability to work independently
  • Share knowledge and experience gained in local market across the network
  • Coordinate with team to identify prospects
  • Update sales manager as required


Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure delivery of all financial targets i.e. revenue from data and impressions
  • Establish appropriate relationships with clients and leverage those relationships to win new business;
  • Support the Account manager to present comprehensive solutions to make business impact;
  • Translate won deals into long term business relations with customers;
  • Build and maintain your professional network at various key strategic levels;
  • Drive revenue growth through marketing solutions and value-added services
  • Establish sufficient prospective opportunities to meet strategic business plans;
  • Develop personal annual sales plan for input into the organization’s annual business plan;
  • Develop strong long-term relationships with key decision makers/influencers within account businesses;
  • Support the development of new product and services
  • Liaise with client retention manager to ensure seamless introduction of new products and services as well as propositions to accounts;
  • Introduce new products and propositions to key decision makers through relationship and stakeholder management within all key touch points;
  • Identify customer’s strategic and operational issues through engagement at the right business level to be able to provide the appropriate business solutions;
  • Act as voice of the customer within the business to ensure their views and needs influence our marketing mix including product/proposition;
  • Actively participate in preparation of customer meetings designed for customer level;
  • Keep updated account plans and proactively communicate strategy to whole team to ensure awareness and alignment.


Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business preferred
  • Professional sales training would be a strong advantage
  • Experienced within a B2B sales environment /advertising/media agency is required
  • A minimum of 3-5 years B2B or advertising/ media sales experience
  • Must have extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and oral written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Previous experience with CRM, data management or ordering software.
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Marketing or sales background preferred



Salary - 1,000 – 1,500 + commission depending on experience.
