Job Title: Portfolio Manager


Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra


Job Description

  • Portfolio construction and asset allocation in accordance with client mandate
  • Develop and implement investment strategies, portfolio construction and asset allocation for all clients taking into 
  • consideration Client’s Objectives, Risk Tolerance and Investment Horizon
  • Ensure re-balancing of client portfolio in accordance with asset allocation mandate

Investment Analysis

  • Analyze Investment /Valuation of key companies
  • Monitoring of deposits, dividends, interest payment on client’s account
  • Liaise with Brokers on the purchase of shares
  • Negotiate rates on fixed income Investments
  • Ensure clients reports are delivered on time

Manage existing client relationship

  • Ensure client investments accounts are tracked regularly
  • Check client cash balances and ensure they are invested regularly
  • Market the firm’s range of Mutual Funds and Other Products
  • Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time


Qualification and Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Administration or related field of study
  • Ghana Stock Exchange Securities Course
  • At least 2 years Portfolio Management
  • Ability to analyse investment opportunities and make sound investment decisions
  • Cooperative working style and strong communication skills are required,in order to develop and maintain effective working 
  • relationships both externally and internally
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Result driven, team player
  • Pays attention to detail
  • Ability to interact and negotiate with the client
  • Customer focused & result-oriented;
  • Good verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to pull together various resources to deliver customer solutions
  • Good organizational and time management skills are highly desirable
  • Inclusive, flexible, and sensitive to client culture
