Job Title: Media, Sponsorship & Communications Specialist

Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra

Job Description

  • Media Management
  • Initiates contract agreement with media houses and monitoring agencies
  • Handles media planning based on overall company strategy
  • In charge of negotiation and media buying
  • Outlines campaign strategies and objectives
  • Perform impact report of products’ campaigns
  • Oversees ad placement and scheduling of promotion interviews
  • Monitor campaigns across various traditional channels mainly print,outdoor, radio and television Brand Development
  • Initiates and oversees all contract agreement with creative agencies and sub-agencies such as production houses, photography agencies and models for advertisements
  • Review existing brand guidelines and make essential recommendations
  • Liaises with creative agencies to produce creative works for campaigns
  • Ensures payments are made to agencies as per the timeline stated in the contract
  • Performs the role of an account manager by managing relationship with all creative agencies
  • In charge of sponsorship decisions and setting of sponsorship objectives as per event
  • Oversee agency selection for events execution and on-ground activation
  • Handles MoU and any form of sponsorship agreement by liaising with legal team
  • Coordinate sponsorship and related activations
  • Manage negative reviews and remarks from consumers and general public
  • Handle radio and TV interviews
  • Assist with managing digital campaigns and social media presence of company
  • Monitors digital ads and oversees activities on company website

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Minimum of a First degree or its equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration or a related course of study
  • At least 4 years’ experience in a related role with particular involvement in media management and brand development
  • Knowledge of the media landscape
  • Awareness of consumer market and characteristics
  • Skilled in digital marketing
  • Excellent interpersonal relations
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to network and establish long-term solid partnerships and relationships
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Highly focused, innovative and results driven
