Job Title: Lecturer

Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra

Job Description

  • Prepare and deliver regular lectures for students
  • Prepare, mark and submit student assignments, mid-semester and end-of-semester examination scripts on time
  • Supervise and direct students’ scholarship and research activities
  • Give effective advice, guidance and feedback to students to support their academic progress
  • Conduct research and /or scholarly activities in specific fields of interest to enhance the University College’s profile
  • Attend departmental and faculty meetings
  • Participate in curriculum revision and academic planning when necessary
  • Perform additional administrative responsibilities
  • Assist the University College’s Academic Board and its Management to achieve its objectives

Qualification and Requirements

  • A minimum of an MPhil degree in English or Communication
  • Experience of teaching in Higher Education
  • Experience of research in his/her area of interest with records of publications
  • Experience of working collaboratively and flexible with other faculty members
  • Must have some administrative experience
