Job Title: Junior Advisor, Programme Assistant (Planning and M&E)


Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra


Project: Employment for Sustainable Development in Africa (E4D)


Reports to: Team Leader


Assignment Period: The programme will end 31.07.2021.


Job Description
 Assist with the development and monitors the implementation of project/ programme plans and activities in close consultation with project managers and partners
 Assist in the collation all relevant data/ input and update the Webmo and internal servers monitoring system
 Assist the project with all organizational and management issues
 Regularly consults with the program manager for the contract and cooperation on all project activities
 Participate in formulating project actions plans and helps synchronize the planning and counterparts
 Develop and maintain contact with relevant stakeholders
 Collects, processes and distributes relevant information
 Support Technical Advisors to prepare, implement and document training events, workshops, forums, team meetings and other project activities
 Participate in meetings, seminars and workshops etc.
 Performs other duties and tasks at the request of management


Qualification and Requirements
 University degree in Development planning, social science or any related field
 At least basic knowledge and a strong interest in the topics of skills development, youth employment
 Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a multicultural environment.
 Motivated team player with an organized, independent, systematic, proactive, detail- and goal-oriented work approach. Ability to quickly grasp complex issues

Other knowledge, additional competences
 Very good working knowledge of ICT technologies and computer applications (e.g. MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
 Very good communication skills
 Willingness to travel frequently within Ghana
 Fluent written and oral knowledge of English
