Job Title: Junior Advisor, Programme Assistant (Planning and M&E)
Job Location: Accra, Greater Accra
Project: Employment for Sustainable Development in Africa (E4D)
Reports to: Team Leader
Assignment Period: The programme will end 31.07.2021.
Assist with the development and monitors the implementation of project/ programme plans and activities in close consultation with project managers and partners
Assist in the collation all relevant data/ input and update the Webmo and internal servers monitoring system
Assist the project with all organizational and management issues
Regularly consults with the program manager for the contract and cooperation on all project activities
Participate in formulating project actions plans and helps synchronize the planning and counterparts
Develop and maintain contact with relevant stakeholders
Collects, processes and distributes relevant information
Support Technical Advisors to prepare, implement and document training events, workshops, forums, team meetings and other project activities
Participate in meetings, seminars and workshops etc.
Performs other duties and tasks at the request of management
Qualification and Requirements
University degree in Development planning, social science or any related field
At least basic knowledge and a strong interest in the topics of skills development, youth employment
Strong interpersonal skills with ability to work in a multicultural environment.
Motivated team player with an organized, independent, systematic, proactive, detail- and goal-oriented work approach. Ability to quickly grasp complex issues
Other knowledge, additional competences
Very good working knowledge of ICT technologies and computer applications (e.g. MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Very good communication skills
Willingness to travel frequently within Ghana
Fluent written and oral knowledge of English
